Barney cake ordered by Joseph Situwali. i actually find it hard to make barney n friends coz to b honest i HATE THEM!!!i hate BARNEYS!!weird purple kind of some unknown creature!!find!call it dino, i dont care!wht happen wif cute cinderella n princess?perhaps power puff gurls?or just nemo for boys???

ARABICA! this nice chocolate cake filled wif fresh creme (not butter creme, so dont worry bout d FAT!), and chocholate wif almond powder and covered wif melted chocolate almond, v crunch outside n creamy inside. not to sweet just NICE! i like not to much sugar in my cake =) chocolate itself will work n satisfy us =)

NewYork cheesecake, Japanese Cheesecake, Germany cheese cake, Taiwanese cheesecake, all kind of cheesecake are usin cream cheese as a main ingredient. The difference can b found in a bakin technique, whether its manually baked, or aubain marine or even steam.
But i never doubt a classic cheese cake like NewYork cheesecake.. wif oreo/blueberry/strawberry or anythin, my fave!

ichigo daifuku
ichigo daifuku or mochi is very easy to make..
price range; idr 4500/piece, min order 9 pieces.
here i share u my recipe;
* 1 cup shiratama-ko (rice flour)
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 2/3 cup water
* *For filling
* 1/3 cup water & 1/2 cup sugar & 1/4 cup dried anko powder
* or 1/2 cup premade anko (sweet red bean paste)
* 6 strawberries
* *katakuriko starch for dusting
Preparation:
Heat 1/3 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar in a pan. Add 1/4 cup of anko powder in the pan and stir well. Set aside. Wash strawberries and remove the calyxes. Wrap a strawberry with about a spoonful of anko and rounds to make a ball. Make 6 balls. Put 2/3 cup of water and 1/4 cup of sugar in a heat-resistant bowl and mix well. Add shiratama-ko flour in the bowl and mix well. Put the bowl in microwave and heat the dough for two minutes. Stir the dough. Heat the dough in microwave until the dough inflates. Stir the mochi quickly. Dust a flat pan with some katakuri-ko starch. Also, dust hands with some katakuri-ko. Remove the hot mochi from the bowl to the pan by hands. Dust hands with more katakuri-ko starch and divide the mochi into 6 pieces by hands. The mochi is hot and sticky, so be careful not to burn your hands. Make 6 flat and round mochi. Put a piece of strawberry and anko filling on a mochi piece and wrap it by stretching mochi. Rounds the daifuku. Repeat the process to make more daifuku cakes.
*Makes 6 daifuku cakes.
Japanese choux
Choux which we call "sus" in indonesian. This choux i made by japanese recipe n there are some difference in terms of taste n texture with indonesian sus. This choux is very crispy, a bit fluffy inside n salty wif a very creamy matcha creme as a fillin, yumm!

Croissant
Talkin bout Pastry, croissant will always b in d main list!i think i knw how to cut calories when u wanna eat a croissant.. make it urself! =) but d final result will b worth it..
Here is the recipe;
1 cup warm milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp yeast
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk at room temperature
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar (second amount)
1 beaten egg
1/2 cups melted and cooled butter
4 cups flour
1 cup cold butter (second amount)
1 egg beaten with cold water for wash
Stir warm milk and sugar together. Add yeast then let stand 10 minutes. Stir well. Add flour; beat well. Add milk, sugar and egg. Beat until smooth. Add butter; beat and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, place the 4 cups of flour and the chilled butter. Cut butter into flour until pieces are the size of beans (not too small). Pour the liquid batter into the flour mixture; stir until moistened. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Remove from refrigerator. Press into a compact ball on a floured board and divide into 4 parts. Roll each into a circle 12" or 16". Cut each circle into 6 or 8 pie-shaped wedges. For each croissant, roll a wedge towards the point. Shape into a crescent and place on ungreased baking sheet. Let rise at room temperature until doubled. This could take in excess of two hours.
Brush each with egg beaten with cold water. Preheat oven to 400 F. Place croissants in oven. Lower temperature to 350 F and bake recipe croissant for 15 - 20 minutes until golden.

i tried to bake them near valentines day and Chinese New Year..
Quite surprised with the number of people who had ordered, its more than hundreds
Now i hv more variation in terms of flavour.

Behind BonbonLeFoi
I enjoy design and love anything that is colourful. Cake decorating is such a passion for me because I get to combine two of my favourite things - creating/designing as well as working with sweets thats why i chose BonBonLeFoi which means in Sugar we thrust =) i believe that womans besfren isnt only diamond but also sweet =) yap i can hear all the agreements! I consider each of my creations as works of art, and regardless of how big or small, they are all baked from scratch and I make sure I design something that is totally unique for my clients. After all, whether it's for a wedding, birthday, christening, anniversary or just because, I believe my creations should tell a story, reflect that special occasion and be talked about long after they have been consumed. Like most cake artists, I started by baking and designing cakes for my friends who were very supportive and encouraged me to start my own business... and so that was how BonBonLeFoi was started. It's a great journey, I also love making desserts and cook culinary and try to make fushion food. I get excited when I get to experiment with new flavours, cooking methods and most of all eating it:)
